On August 1, the Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce awarded Pavlos Panagopoulos of Cetera Advisor Networks and the Panagopoulos Insurance Agency the “Member of the Month Award” for August 2019. The award was commemorated with a plaque. Chamber Executive Director, Rhona Espinoza, said the award is significant because the organization has more than 300 members. Pavlos has been a member of the Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce for more than 30 years and was awarded with the “Citizen of the Year” designation in 2007. On 2001, he served as the President of the Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce.

The August 1 event also the celebrated newly-hired educators from all the Belen-area schools and featured a Dr. Seuss theme. More than 100 people attended the event at the Tierra del Sol Country Club in Rio Communities.
